If the DET-2 theodolite goes out of level, the tilt sensor will automatically correct for any shift in the tripod and keep the accuracy of the vertical angle. A high quality telescope with 30x magnification, along with a short minimum focus distance, delivers clear and unclouded views of your target from any distance.
Customize the display resolution and choose display readings of 1-second or 5-second depending on preference. Surveyors can also instantly convert the vertical angle to percentage of grade. Options such as setting the vertical or horizontal angle to zero, selecting the horizontal angle hold, or taking clockwise or counterclockwise angle measurements are all available with the press of a button.
