The Topcon Field Controller FC-25 Series is a lightweight and powerful data collector. With an LCD touch screen and keypad, entering data is easy. Having a Windows OS, it can run mobile versions of popular software, including Word, Adobe Reader, Outlook, and Excel, PowerPoint, and Media Player. In addition to 256 MB of memory, it can access 2GB of flash memory. It has both an SD card slot and USB port. It also has a built in digital camera.

TopSURV data software can be used with the Topcon Field Controller FC-25 Series. It allows the information collected to be processed and adapted easily. It makes the transfer of data faster and makes storage easier. It can transfer the information between different units using wireless technology, including WiFi and Bluetooth.

The IP-65 rating protects the Topcon Field Controller FC-25 Series against both water and dust. It is also designed to handle being drop from 5'. It can run on rechargeable batteries up to 7.5 hours.
