The Topcon DT-207L 7 Second Digital Theodolite has a built-in laser pointer with pin-point accuracy for precise layout and alignment applications. This optical instrument also has an advanced absolute encoder for accurate angle calculations and high quality telescope with 30x magnification and three feet minimum focus distance for viewing high quality target images even in tight areas.

Outside in daylight, the integrated laser pointer can be seen up to 165 feet away for quick aiming and as a guide during layout. The bright red laser beam also allows construction professionals to accurately place bolts at regular intervals on a line, set an angle or sight in footers and tilt-up walls.

SWith built-in absolute encoder, surveyors can take measurements as soon as the theodolite is turned on. This technology uses advanced algorithm to restore the azimuth after the instrument’s power is cut off, improving reliability of angle measurements and reducing power consumption.
