The Spectra SP60 Single Receiver Kit offers a flexible GNSS survey solution. With a variety of choices, from the basic L1 GPS-only package to the L1/L2 GNSS multi-constellation RTK rover with UHF transceiver, this survey grade GPS receiver can give you what you need to get the job done. You can start simple and upgrade as needed for higher degrees of accuracy.

The SP60 features integral long-range Bluetooth technology that functions over a 100 m radius, making it ideal for small site surveys. Fast, easy, and convenient – you don't need a license – the SP60's Bluetooth capabilities let you set up a short range base rover operation in a flash. It's compatible with many data collectors, (such as the MobileMapper 20, T41, Ranger 3, and ProMark 120), for extended power and precision. Basic Spectra Precision Survey Office Software comes with your purchase, which is also upgradeable. The SP60 is compatible with Survey Pro, FAST Survey, and ProMark Field software.

No Network Needed

The SP60 has an L-band GNSS antenna, which allows it to use the CenterPoint RTX service for precise satellite-delivered corrections without the need for cellular coverage or an RTK base station. With the CenterPoint RTX system, you can experience a high range of accuracy (Horizontal 4 cm, Vertical 9 cm), with convergence times of 30 min or less, anywhere in the world.

Cutting-Edge Processing Technology

Spectra's patented Z-Blade positioning system gives you good-quality results even in poor conditions, such as under a tree canopy or in an urban environment surrounded by tall buildings. The Z-Blade slices through the confusion by synthesizing the data from different GNSS constellations. The incoming data from any and all of the satellite systems is used without prejudice – you can get an RTK fix without any visible GPS satellites at all. With a 240-channel 6G ASIC, the SP60 has full use of all 6 GNSS systems: GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS and SBAS. Of course, you still have the option of running in GPS-only, GLONASS-only or BeiDou-only mode if you wish.

Theft Deterrent Safeguards

A survey-grade GNSS receiver can make an attractive target for thieves. The SP60 has a motion sensor that detects when its position has shifted. You can also set the receiver to ensure that it only works in the place where you set it. If thieves try to abscond with your SP60, an alarm will sound and the operating system will lock, leaving them with a fancy paperweight. This will seriously impact resale value. You receive an “Anti-Theft Technology” sticker with your purchase to show that your unit is protected.

Made for the Rough and Tumble of the Job Site

With an IP67 rating, this GPS receiver is completely dust-proof and waterproof to depths of 1 m. The impact-resistant case can withstand pole drops of up to 2 m. The patented UHF antenna is set inside the pole with a streamlined effect that helps protect it from knocks and wind. The receiver is 8.3”L x 8.3”W x 2.3”H and weighs 2.08 lb. The user interface is easy to see and understand, with 5 LED indicators for power, tracking, Bluetooth, recording, and radio operations.
