Solinst’s 800 Low Pressure Pneumatic Packers are simple, inexpensive, and easy to use. Solinst 800 pneumatic packers are available in two sizes, 1.8″ and 3.9″ (46 mm and 99 mm), inflate with a hand pump, and are suited for pneumatic inflation at pressures ranging from 20–50 psi (140–345 kPa). They are designed primarily for use in 2″ and 4″ monitoring wells, but are also well-suited for wells and smooth boreholes with inside diameters between 1.9″ and 5″.

Built to last, these low pressure pneumatic packers feature a PVC body and a black carbon reinforced (BCR) gland. Easily lower Model 800 pneumatic packers on a rigid PVC drop pipe or flexible low density polyethylene (LDPE) tubing. Easily attach the inflation line of 1/8″ LDPE using nylon compression fittings on each packer. If your job does not require a rigid drop tube it is suggested that a safety line be attached to the hook provided on the Model 800.

Solinst’s tag line works excellent as a safety line and is also useful for determining total well depth. Both the Solinst double valve pump and the Integra bladder pump work well with Solinst low pressure packers.

Double Valve Pumps can be easily attached above the packers. Placement of the water inlet may be through perforated pipe fitted between straddle packers or below a single packer. When using Solinst Leveloggers, they may be suspended between or below the eyebolt on the bottom of the packer for hydraulic conductivity testing.
