The Johnson 40-6636 line laser level emits a long-range beam for precise horizontal alignment. It has a high accuracy of ±1/8-inch accuracy at 50 feet and can be used alone or with a tripod using its 5/8 – 11 thread. 360-Degree Line
The Johnson long range projects a unbroken horizontal beam at a 360-degree radius. This provides full coverage of the area, letting you level cabinets, chair rails, borders, windows, and other items. Additionally, you can use manual mode to tilt the line for extreme angles.
Long Range Beam and Optional Receiver
Johnson’s line laser level has an interior range of up to 200 feet and reaches a maximum of 300 feet outdoors when used with the optional line receiver or detector. A receiver is able to read beams at longer distances even outside or in bright lighting, extending the work range and addiing to project versatility. The optional 40-6780 Laser Receiver has front and back LED displays, dual fine and coarse detection settings, is rain and dust resistant, plus it comes complete with its own clamp and batteries.
Self-Leveling
This beam laser level from Johnson uses a pendulum to level itself within ±5 degrees. It sounds an alarm and flashes when it is moved out of self-leveling range. The pendulum locks securely when the unit is turned off, preserving its accuracy during transport and storage.
