The Leica Basic Digging System also known as MC200 Depthmaster works with any rotary laser and controls the proper grade on construction and agricultural machines. Featuring constant accuracy band control, plumb indicator and LED displays, this rugged machine control receiver provides precise grade checks and comes with clamp-on brackets.

LED and Plumb Indicator
Mounted on a backhoe’s dipper stick, the Basic Digging System has a 200-degree reception area and ultra-bright LED lights that can be seen even on the brightest of days. With its patented plumb indicator, it monitors the excavator’s dipper arm vertically for consistent and accurate grade readings.

Constant Accuracy Band
The Leica MC200 Depthmaster maintains on-grade accuracy regardless of operating distances or rotary laser type.  You can choose between 4 mm or 12 mm setting depending on jobsite requirements.

Memory and Mirror Image Mounting
When the Basic Digging System is out of range, its LED will blink indicating which way to move the sensor to reacquire the laser. Its front and rear display panels are also the same for mounting on either side of the machine.

Shake to Wake
This Leica machine control receiver features a unique shake to wake function that turns off non-essential electronics after five minutes of inactivity. When your machine begins to move again, the MC200 Depthmaster automatically turns back on to resume work.

Long Battery Life
With its standby mode and automatic shutoff feature after 90 minutes, the Depthmaster works up to 48 hours on a single charge.
