Silva 423 Huntsman Compass
The rugged Silva Huntsman 423 sighting compass is designed for serious outdoor enthusiasts. (It offers the same features as the Landmark 427, but sports an olive drab coloring.) The contoured case features a heavy-duty locking pin for attaching to clothing while on the trail for hands-free use, enabling you to view the capsule at a glance by rotating the cover 270 degrees. It also includes a a large sighting mirror for quick, accurate sightings when plotting a location. The compass dial has 5-degree gradations as well as inch and millimeter scales make for simple mapping and plotting. It measures 2.6 by 1.8 by 0.6 inches and weighs 0.9 ounces.
