The Leica Rugby 280DG with Rod Eye 160 laser receiver is a multipurpose construction laser level with fully automatic, dual grade capability for measuring slopes. This rotary laser has an operating diameter of 2,300 feet and has the ability to tilt on both axes for accurate indoor and outdoor measurements. Equipped with a large LCD display, an easy-to-use keypad and extensive features, the Rugby 280DG ensures accurate measurements.

Highly Accurate Performance
To precisely lay out a construction site, install ceilings and partitions, building parking lots and runways, align concrete forms and many more, the Leica Rugby 280DG is integrated with a self-leveling horizontal and vertical accuracy of 1/16th inch per 100 feet. It can be mounted on a tripod and includes a 90-degree plumb beam. It also has four adjustable head speeds and three scanning modes to easily match your needs.

Dual-Axis Grade
The Leica Rugby laser level has automatic dual grade up to +/-15% in both axes with an accuracy of 1/8th inch per 100 feet. With a large, backlit, graphic display, the Rugby 280DG provides easy grade entry by selecting the axis, then pressing up or down to enter the required grade. You can also press the Star button to open the menu and change settings.

Leica Rod Eye 160 Receiver
Perfect for working outdoors, the included Rod Eye 160 offers digital readout of measurements. It has two, large LCD screens to clearly and easily read numbers and stay on grade. This laser detector features five different detection accuracies and 15 arrow display channels. The integrated anti-strobe protection detects and ignores the flash from strong strobes so that they will not interfere with the laser receiver's function. The Rod Eye 160 beeps twice when it senses the Rugby 280DG's laser beam and alerts you if it is moved out of range. It also has four audio settings and comes with a bracket for mounting it firmly to the grade rod. 

Additional Features
Grade changes can be set and locked in the menu to prevent error, while the beam masking function turns off the laser beam on up to three sides to prevent unwanted disturbances. This Leica dual grade laser also alerts you if the device has been moved or bumped and self-levels within +/-5 degrees. It also comes with a two-way remote control that allows you to change the laser’s functions up to 330 feet away.

Tough and Rugged Design
With a rating of IP67, the Rugby 280 DG is dustproof and can survive water immersions up to three feet. It has a high impact, glass filled housing and a solid metal base, making it one of the toughest and most durable laser in the industry. This dual grade slope laser operates up to 70 hours using alkaline batteries and approximately 40 hours using rechargeable NiMH batteries.
