The TW-82P-HC is a Digital Underground Line Tracer with an active single-frequency that is used to located and trace buried utilities using either the Conductive Method, Inductive Method, or with the use of Coupling Clamps. The transmitters "Auto Power-Down" feature, is a power saving feature that when activated will automatically turn off the transmitter 60 minutes after the last key-pad press by the user. It also will warn the user when batteries reach the end of their useful life. The receiver also has power saving and notification features. When the transmitter is connected to a utility the receiver will trace the transmitters signal using visual indicators on the screen as well as an audio pitch that will increase as the user approaches the utility. When directly over the utility the receiver will go silent. The TW82P-HC includes the receiver and transmitter as well as a durable hard carrying case and ground rod.
